“Style Essentials” the 2009 Fall Fashion Show On Friday, the 13th of November From 6-8 pm At the Richard H. Rush Library on the Edison College Campus
Since 1927, the Fort Myers Woman’s Community Club has taken an active roll to “advance the civic welfare of the city of Fort Myers” and to gather “for mutual improvement and social entertainment.”
With those 82 year old objectives and traditions in mind, we will present the 2009 fashion show free to our members and their guests; and we will be collecting recycled gowns for needy high school prom girls and food for the Harry Chapin food bank.
Without giving too much away, the event will be a Friday evening “girls’ night out” with impressive food, splendid shopping, spectacular fashions, and fresh entertainment!
With the back drop of the beautiful Richard H. Rush Gallery and the Mary Jo Sanders Garden of Inspiration, the affair promises to be enchanting. Our opening number will be performed by special guest Cypress Lake High School.
So mark your calendar and save the date; and possibly make plans to meet up with friends and loved ones after the show, because we’re planning a great Friday night out for you!
